Limited Warranty — Architectural Switches

Version 1.0 • May 2026 • Applicable to Lithoss-manufactured products

1. Warranty Period and Scope

Manufacturer warrants that the products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery to the end customer. This warranty is passed through to Customer by Florian Designs.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and original installation address and is not transferable without Florian Designs' prior written approval.

2. What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation, including:

• Mechanical defects in switches, dimmers, keypads, and related electrical components
• Manufacturing defects in finishes, fittings, and surface treatments
• Failure of integrated electronic components (KNX, Casambi, or other technology variants) under normal operating conditions
• Defects in mounting hardware or installation accessories supplied by Manufacturer

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from improper installation, including installation by an unlicensed electrician or installation contrary to Manufacturer specifications
• Damage resulting from cleaning with strong detergents or chemical agents, scratches, or other actions causing damage to the protective varnish or finish layer that may lead to oxidation
• Normal wear and tear, including surface variations, patina development, and minor finish changes over time
• Damage resulting from electrical surges, lightning, power fluctuations, or improper voltage
• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, modification, or alteration of the product
• Damage resulting from use of cleaning products not approved by Manufacturer
• Custom-engraved surfaces where damage is limited to the engraving itself and does not affect product function
• Products installed in applications outside their specified intended use
• Products used in environments exceeding their specified operating conditions (humidity, temperature, ingress protection rating)
• Cosmetic variations within normal manufacturing tolerances
• Components, accessories, or third-party products not supplied by Manufacturer (including third-party Casambi modules sourced separately for North American installations)

4. Claim Procedure

To make a warranty claim:

• Notify Florian Designs in writing within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect, and in any event within the two-year warranty period
• Provide proof of purchase (Florian Designs invoice or order confirmation)
• Provide a description of the defect, including photographs where applicable
• Identify the product by model, finish, and installation location
• Confirm installation date and installer credentials

Florian Designs will review the claim and coordinate with Manufacturer for evaluation. Customer may be required to return the defective product to Florian Designs at Customer's expense for inspection. If the defect is confirmed as covered under this warranty, return shipping costs will be reimbursed.

5. Remedy

If a defect is confirmed as covered under this warranty, the sole obligation under this warranty, at Manufacturer's discretion, shall be to:

• Repair the defective product, or
• Replace the defective product with a comparable product of equal or greater value, or
• Refund the purchase price of the defective product

Replacement products may differ slightly in finish, color, or specification due to manufacturing variations, product updates, or discontinuation. Such variations shall not constitute a basis for additional claim.

6. Limitations

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, FLORIAN DESIGNS AND MANUFACTURER MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

FLORIAN DESIGNS' TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL FLORIAN DESIGNS OR MANUFACTURER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF USE, OR LABOR COSTS FOR REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS.

This warranty does not cover labor costs for removal, reinstallation, or troubleshooting of installed products. Customer is responsible for engaging a licensed electrician for any work involving product removal, replacement, or reinstallation.

7. Governing Terms

This Limited Warranty is subject to and limited by the Florian Designs Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale, which govern the commercial relationship between Florian Designs and Customer. In the event of conflict between this Warranty and the Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale, the Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale shall govern.

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under this warranty shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of the Florian Designs Trade Terms and Conditions of Sale, available at www.floriandesigns.com/pages/terms-of-sale.
