KNX

Three document types are needed for KNX commissioning. Load the ETS Software into the commissioning tool, use the Parameter Handbook to configure button functions, and refer to the Installation Manual for wiring and mounting. ETS Software files are button-count specific — download the correct variant for each switch on the project.

KNX product database files (.knxprod) loaded into ETS. One file per button count. No 3-button ETS file exists — 3T switches use the 4-button file with one channel left unconfigured.

Casambi

Casambi switches are configured through the Casambi app — no separate commissioning software required. Two variants: Battery (fully wireless, coin cell powered) and Mains (continuously powered, functions as a mesh repeater). The Select manual covers both variants in a single document.

Push Button · 24V

Crestron · Control4 · Savant · Lutron HomeWorks · Vantage · RTI · all dry-contact 24V input systems

Push Button switches output a momentary dry-contact pulse on 24V. No programming at the switch — all logic lives in the control processor. Manuals cover wiring, wallbox dimensions, and LED feedback connections.

Cockpit is a 6A mechanical toggle or push-button switch operating at 24–250V as a direct load switch or dry contact via external relay. No KNX or Casambi variant. For KNX integration, pair with a third-party dry-contact input module.
